I was truly blessed to have gotten the opportunity to do work with Midnight Mission this semester. The people I've had the pleasure of speaking with have truly made an impact in my life in such a short amount of time. I've learned that their journey's have not been easy by any means, but each day they are getting closer to their goals. Through this project, I've increased my own knowledge of homelessness and addiction. Our goal was to debunk common misconceptions and stereotypes surrounding homelessness and addiction by providing a platform for people to tell their stories. The work Midnight Mission does is truly amazing, and I am glad I got to witness it.
